The Clear Lake Local Foods Committee has partnered with local farmers and restaurants to bring you the fourth annual Clear Lake Area Farm to Fork Community Dinner on Sunday, October 15th, 2017 at Cafe Mir in Fertile, Iowa (113W Main St.). Social hour will begin at 4:30pm followed by the meal at 5:30pm.

Farm-fresh ingredients from local producers will be featured as part of a custom menu created the chefs of North Iowa’s newest Farm to Table Restaurants: Chef Joshua Frederick – Cafe Mir, Fertile, Chef Ryan Wagner – Fieldhouse, Clear Lake and Ashely Coleman – BE WELLness, Clear Lake. Local wine tasting will also be available thanks to the North Iowa Wine Club.

“The purpose of this event is to celebrate the successes of 2017 and highlight the new farm to table businesses and activities that are taking place in the Clear Lake area,” says Andrea Evelsizer, Program Coordinator of Healthy Harvest of North Iowa. “In the past we’ve used this event as a fundraiser but this year we want to make it more accessible for new people to attend so we’ve reduced the price considerably with the hopes of introducing new event goers to the Farm to Fork experience.”

Tickets are just $40/person and will be available at the Clear Lake Farmers Market (Saturdays, 9am-noon at the Surf Ballroom parking lot), BEWellness (check their website www.bewellnessclearlake.com for hours and directions) and online at Eventbright.com (https://clearlakefarmtofork2017.eventbrite.com). Seating is limited so get your tickets now before they are gone!

The live music will be sponsored by Hearing Associates, P.C. of Mason City.

We hope you will join us for an evening of delicious, local food, live music and fun!
