KGLO TRACTOR RIDE 2009 WHERE FARM- CITY- AND INDUSTRY MEET!! Registration: July 19,2009 Ride: July 20-22nd

Tractor Ride Route: We are "Clover leafing" out of the North Iowa Fairgrounds this year. Returning to Mason City each day.

Day 1: Leave the Fairgrounds and head south. We will be using the Burchinal blacktop- heading to the Rockwell/Swaledale blacktop. Our morning break will be at the Rockwell school. From there, we'll head to Marble Rock. Our lunch stop will be at the Winnebago Scout Reservation, with lunch served by the Boy Scouts. We will be touring their campgrounds and lodge- it's a treat for those that haven't seen it! From there, we'll be heading to Rockford- our afternoon break will be at the Fossil and Prairie Park in Rockford. From there, back to Mason City Fairgrounds.

Day 2: Leave the Fairgrounds and go north. Our morning break is at Rock Falls. From there, we'll head to Mitchell. The River Road will take us to Osage. The Farm Bureau will be serving lunch at the new Cedar River Complex- a beautiful new building on the Mitchell County Fairgrounds. Our afternoon break will be in Plymouth. Then, it's back to the Fairgrounds. Day 3: We will be heading North out of the Fairgrounds to Lime Creek Nature Center. Drivers will have some time to tour this facility. From there, we'll travel to LeHigh Cement. We are very excited to be able to tour the back area of the cement plant- up to the quarry. This is a restricted area- not many people have seen where we are going to be! Then, it's back to the Fairgrounds for the wrap up.
