IRFA Welcomes New Communications Manager

JOHNSTON, IA – The Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA) is excited to announce Jared Palmer as its new Communications Manager.

Palmer’s responsibilities will include overseeing IRFA’s social media networks and press communications. Palmer recently worked as a part of the Tournament Administration for the Principal Charity Classic as an intern, and as a Communications Intern for IAUMC.

“I look forward to working with IRFA and hope to encourage others to learn more about biofuels,” stated Palmer. “Biofuel producers make a positive economic impact on Iowa and help clean up the environment around the world.”

Palmer is originally from Dallas Center. He graduated from Iowa State in 2022, where he earned degrees in Communication Studies and Public Relations.

“We are pleased to add Jared to the IRFA team,” said IRFA Executive Director Monte Shaw. “Jared brings fresh experience in digital communications and a desire to make a difference for consumers and the environment.”
